The position of managing partner of the firm
is now determined by election， according to the
resolution agreed to at the Partners＇meeting on
Sept. 6, 2008. Ms. Lifei Chen was elected
as the managing partner of the firm with a
term of two years, beginning Sep 6, 2008.
Dr. Liu Nanping's article entitled The Marrow and Appearance of Doctorate
Dissertation -- Also on the Abuses of Present Legal Studies in Mainland
China, published by the Peking University Law Journal in 2000, has been
included in the Peking University Law Journal's 2008 list of most
outstanding publications between 2000 and 2007.

Haibiao Deng takes the position of the executive partner in turn, commencing from
August 21st, 2007 to July 20th, 2008.
Dr. Liu, Nanping is appointed as a member of Law Expert Consultancy Committee of
Legal Department attached to Shenzhen Government. The term is for two years,
from Feb 6th, 2007 to Feb 5th, 2009.
Mr. Liang Jianguo joined the partnership of the firm in August 2006.

Dr. Nanping Liu was invited by the Shenzhen Law Society to give a talk for pre-post
professional training program. The topic is: A Confusion Arising from the "Gross
Type of Law": Identifying the Legal Issues and Looking for Their Solutions.
